Anybody a Scientologist or know someone who is?

  • Just wondering? Is Xenu legit?

  • Funny you ask this...

I saw an article link on Yahoo today, to an ABC news story about some high ranking former scientologist who claims to have witnessed abuse....

When I clicked on the link it mysteriously went to an "oops" page....

the scientologists must have thrown a shit fit and got the article removed....

Not one myself but I know several. I'll ask them and get back to you. I'm guessing the answer will be the same as asking a Mormon about magic underwear or asking a Christian if Jesus really was a zombie who wants you to eat HIS flesh.

  • A customer has a family member who does well in Hollywood behind the camera. The brother thought is was funny how the Scientologists always blew him off until he stated making serious money as a director. Then they started paying as much attention trying to recruit him as they did schmoozing the highly paid actors he directed.

If you are dirt poor the Scientologists aren't interested.

Very legit. You should get an e-meter reading, see about joining up. You're just the right demographic too...

You keep on showing how stupid you really are.

Scientology goes after folks with fat bank accounts. They don't care about your politics. They don't care of you support the Occupy movement or drive a big ass pick up/SUV to show people you don't care about the environment. They want your money.

Don't worry, you are a broke conservative so they won't go after you.

  • Why do some people feel the need to mock religion?

I don't mock Scientology. I am kicking myself for not setting up a similar scam. Call it a church and don't pay taxes.

    Religion mocks itself.

  • I knew someone that was in the ORG in Chicago and has since left the church. I attended 2 major fundraising events that were some of the most bizarre things I have ever witnessed and took the personality test. None of the members are aware of Xenu and you need to complete the bridge to gain access to the high level doctrine containing such info. Since then I have moved to Hollywood which happens to be the HQ of Scientology with buildings everywhere. I was fascinated by the whole thing for awhile and have read a lot about it. You have some good people that have been tricked into this cult and I am baffled that there is not more public outrage about the devastation Scientology has on its members lives. In Hollywood I have noticed that a majority of the members I have seen are not American. I think they are preying upon the downtrodden of foreign counties who are desperately looking for green cards and come to this country with Scientology's assistance only to find themselves in a life of modern day slavery.

This sounds eerily similar to other religions..... and I just can't seem to put my finger on which ones......
