Are all people sinners?

Both are misogynistic and in my view equally so.

#1 places women in a lower caste than men.

#2 sexually objectifies women and it's vulgar tone is disrespectful to them.

So, according to you, saying that women are equal to men and saying that women are inferior to men is exactly the same.

No wonder you dodged for so long. Anyone would be reluctant to share such an embarrassing thought.

Ol' doc kind of got you there Pervis.

All credit to doc for pointing out that if your actions define your morals than you are always perfectly moral.

Your need to have someone on your side is sort of pitiful. I'm enjoying it.

Well fill us in on those contexts.

Keep in mind people have been fired for using the word niggardly in it's proper context.

Off the top of my head, here's two contexts:

    1. If one black person wants to call another black the N-word, it's mildly offensive to some people, but not racist.

    2. Have you ever read Huck Finn? I'm assuming you're not one of those people who wants to ban Twain's novel because it contains that word.

As to people being fired for using "niggardly," that just sounds ignorant:

"You might look in a better fargin' dictionary. Sure, the origin of "niggard" is unclear, but not its timeline, which predates the N-word in the English language by a couple hundred years at least. "Niggard" comes up as early as Chaucer, late 14th century. The most commonly speculated origin is Scandanavian nig/Old Norse hnoggr, meaning miserly. Don't know how much faith you want to put in Indo-European roots, but one meaning of the root ken- is conjectured to relate a family of words with a connotation implying closing, tightening, or pinching (the family of related words is hypothesized to include such n-words as nap, nibble, nod, nosh, neap, nip). The racial slur "nigger," on the other hand, doesn't enter the lexicon until the 1500's, first as "neger" or "neeger," obviously from the same root as the French negre and Spanish negro, words for the color black, which are derived from the Latin niger."

Of course that is NOT what I am saying.

Although an apple and an orange are both fruits they are not the same. Although both your statements are misogynistic they are not the same.

I don't NEED to have someone on my side. It's just that most rational people naturally are on my side. Whereas your "side" has standouts like Mad and GRR. lol

That's because this country has become so damn soft. You can't say or do anything anymore without it being examined a hundred times. Pussification of America continued.

Context. Look it up. It's how something is said and when it's said.

"There's a different group to get pissed off at you in this country for everything your not supposed to say. Can't say Nigger, Boogie, Jig, Jigaboo, Skinhead, Moolimoolinyon, Schvatzit, Junglebunny. Greaser, Greaseball, Dago, Guinea, Whop, Ginzo, Kike, Zebe, Heed, Yid, Mocky, Himie, Mick, Donkey, Turkey, Limey, Frog. Zip, Zipperhead, Squarehead, Crout, Hiney, Jerry, Hun, Slope, Slopehead, Chink, Gook. There is absolutely nothing wrong with any of those words in and of themselves. Their only words. It's the context that counts. It's the user. It's the intention behind the words that makes them good or bad. The words are completely neutral. The words are innocent. I get tired of people talking about bad words and bad language. Bullshit! It's the context that makes them good or bad. The context. That makes them good or bad. For instance, you take the word "Nigger." There is absolutely nothing wrong with the word "Nigger" in and of itself. It's the racist asshole who's using it that you ought to be concerned about. We don't mind when Richard Pryer or Eddie Murphy say it. Why? Because we know they're not racist. Their Niggers! Context. Context. We don't mind their context because we know they're black. Hey, I know I'm whitey, the blue-eyed devil, paddy-o, fay gray boy, honkey, mother-fucker myself. Don't bother my ass. Their only words. You can't be afraid of words that speak the truth, even if it's an unpleasant truth, like the fact that there's a bigot and a racist in every living room on every street corner in this country." -- George Carlin (http://www.iceboxman.com/carlin/pael.php#track14)

Just because two statements are equally misogynistic doesn't mean that they are saying the same thing. lol

  • I love this thread, RQA. I had forgotten about your use of the term "butt-buddy". When I noted that you used the term, you switched to "B-B" - as if that's somehow better. lol

Lately, you've been accusing me of posting "homophobic slurs". I'd ask you if "butt-buddy" qualifies, but you vowed today to continue dodging all of my questions.

That's actually GRR's foray into homophobia, but there is a certain entertainment value in seeing how many lies you can post in a day.

I'd ask how you can post that term while calling me a homophobe for using the word "effeminate", but you vowed to continue dodging every question I ask.

As a side note, it looks like your nearly year-long homophobe accusations started because you think "effeminate" means homosexual.

    Fucking hilarious.
