I find it rather intersting that the second highest disapproval rating is in the DailyKos/SIEU poll.

Great. So what's the solution?

Safe as opposed to praising one party or the other? Seriously, I just went through about six different threads, and spotting which party each poster belonged to was easier than spotting a toupee on Donald Trump's cranium.

I voted third party in 2008 because I am independent (although I like to define my political views as apathetic), but I am not going to vote this year. I'd rather not reign at the altar of either a man who promised hope and change and got every sucker to believe him, and I'm not going to bend over for a businessman who has flip-flopped numerous times and doesn't know how to handle being in the spotlight.

There are more independent voters now than ever; is that a coincidence? From the attached article:

"According to Gallup and based on 20,000 interviews from 20 polls taken throughout 2011, 'a record-high 40 percent of Americans identify as Independents.' To put that in perspective, consider that self-identified Democrats roll in at a historic low of 31 percent while just 27 percent of us are willing to admit being Republicans."

And from the Huffington Post:

"A new Washington Post/ABC News poll found that super PACs, the political organizations that allow donors to contribute unlimited amounts of money in support of candidates, are extremely unpopular among American voters.

The poll, conducted among registered voters from March 7-10, found that 69 percent of voters want super PACs to be made illegal, while 25 percent want them to remain legal. Independent voters felt more strongly than Democrats or Republicans -- 78 percent said they favored banning super PACs."
