His philosophy and mine are almost identical. I believe every American has the same right to affordable health care, that the role of our country is to support those who need the most help, that we are the most powerful country in the world and should lead through dialog and understanding and should support those who want to free themselves from oppressive regimes but not with boots on the ground. He could be more to the left to my tastes.
Why should they change their behavior? Democracy has spoken and the Republican majority has remained intact much like the President's behavior won't change because he was re-elected. A lot of people must have thought it was a successful formula over the last 4 years otherwise they would have given the democrats a majority in the house.

I don't expect them to change. They love acting like losers and playing the victim card.
I'd say that 1-4 pretty much encapsulates my reasons. I don't think The President of romney are really regular guys anymore, but I do think The President benefits from a more international view growing up.
I also was very impressed that The President de-segregated the military and appealed to reason. He is far from perfect and there are things I disagree with, but I think his term has been beneficial to the country, especially in the long term.
As a former connie, while not perfect, Obama is the anti-W.
On a national level it will take a long time for me to gain the trust of the right wing after trying to digest 8 years of the George & Dick Circus. I can still smell the elephant shit even though the show left town four years ago.
I had ultra conservative farmers (who also don't trust "colored people") actually admit to me they voted for Obama in '08. Not many things in politics shock me, but this was one of them and shows just how much damage that administration did to even their hardcore base.
De-segregated the military? That was Truman, not Obama.
So... I'm sorry, why are you voting for Obama again? Given the thread title, either you posted in the wrong thread, can't read, or are just .
De-segregation I suppose is the wrong word, considering gays could not serve AT ALL, so you would be correct. Allow me to change it to "removing discriminating practices against sexual preference in the military."
Doesn't have the same ring to it...
Ahh, now I get it. De-homophied maybe?
He's got "it".
I must be crazy to be in a loony bin like this.
Sorry I rained on your parade.
Wow, you are wasting your vote if you are voting for the lesser of 2 evils. If everyone voted based on principle instead of voting like you, then there actually might be real change.
Decreaed Defense spending
INcreased Taxes for the rich
An Actual belief in Climate Change
Romeny was going to cut funding to EPA and othe environmental programs
Things are much better than they were in 08
What's Romney's Tax PLan?
Romney WAS going to start a miltary conflict with Iran
No association with the Tea Party

Okay, we'll roll with that.
I like that he stiffed the legitimate bondholders of GM to give money to his union buddies. I also like that he went to war with Libya (through the UN of course) without going through congress. I like that he lied to us about the terrorist attack in Libya and blamed it on a youtube video. I like that the guy who made the youtube video is now in jail. That's what I call follow through on your lies. It takes strong character to do that. I also like that he passed NDAA. I like that I have no rights now. In fact, the FBI is probably at my front door right now ready to jail me for being a neocon. I also just wanted to be a part of history and re-elect a black man.
Cause he's black!
I'm still not over the white guilt, gonna take another four years till I am. The coloreds have been through a lot and whitey needs to pay!!
Oh, BTW. HA HA!
The Republican passed Patriot Act is a much larger invasion of your privacy and personal rights than any bill passed by Obama
If you say so.
That's like somebody rapes your wife and you say "relax. the man who raped you 6 years ago was far more violent"
NO.It's not like that all. Terrible analogy
You make the most bizarre posts of anyone on this board. You had dozens of analogies to think up and use, and THIS is what you post.
You're a sick fuck.
Good post. Nobody sees through your feigned outrage. More of this please.
Dude he is a republican. To Him women are lucky ot get raped
Yes. Republicans want women to get raped. You encapsulated their platform and the theory behind it. Good job.
