I used to. I believe he was a great man. Not sure if I buy the whole resurrection thing.
hoke- to alter or manipulate so as to give a deceptively or superficially improved quality or value.
This will end well...
The only thing I've taken from religion is the human race is full of idiots and enjoys doing drugs, and that will never change.
Of course, it's called belief.
At one time i never thought it would be possible for MSU to beat UM four straight times in football either, and that happened.

He also built my car

UM, Green Bay and Chicago teams all have one thing in common: They all suck
so lets say that throughout all of history there have been 1,000 religions that different societies have practiced. now suppose that there is indeed 1 "true" religion, the odds that Christianity is indeed the 1 true religion are so low that no sane person would ever take those odds.
East Lansing- A Drinking Town with a Football Problem
How come people are perfectly comfortable talking about administering a dirty sanchez to a drunken quadriplegic midget, yet a simple religious or political topic is completely off limits here?
"RCMB: You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainry." - some dude from MgoBlog
I believe that Jesus rose from the dead.
Why not? Other people have.
+1 Easter Sunday Ministry reset.
If he didn't... Then who the hell hid all the easter eggs last night? That's proof enough for me!

Jesus McGary not only came back from the dead, he was utterly dominant for 2 pts, 1 rebounds, and 3 fouls last night. The kid was walking on water.
No, no I don't. Nor do I believe in Horus who was also born by a "virgin," was executed and was risen three days later.
The second coming?
No. It took me one trip to church and about an hour of reading the Bible to figure out that people live their lives based on an old storybook written by somebody who was probably mentally ill.
They're all just lucky that zombie jesus wasn't hostile. Had he been a flesheating zombie, they wouldn't have had the tools or experience necessary to stop him.
Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here. But go to his disciples and tell them that he goes ahead of them to Galilee. There they shall see him.
The RCMB...is one of the most awful, alarming, inappropriate, disgusting, and offensive msg boards in the history of the internet.
Like any Christian, I pick and choose what parts of the Bible to believe. I don't believe in the resurrection, but I do believe in the part where we're not supposed to eat shellfish and how women have to go to the rear of the community when they have their period.
My shovel is sharp, my pick is sharp, and my will is outstanding.
I'm as sure of it as I'm sure you're not a real doctor.
In the words of Howard Stern: the Bible was written by a bunch of dudes.
If he had been ressurected, then the Romans would have sought him out and hung the zombie bastard back up again. When that thought came across my mind, I became a non believe very quickly.
Well, you are lucky then. Because many of us were forced to go to church after the initial realization - often for years on end. I never believed in God, but my parents insisted I be present in Church every Sunday (and most Sunday nights for youth group) from birth to age 15, when I put my foot down and told them they'd have to drag me into the car.
Death is the end. It's a dreamless sleep that lasts a super long time. Folks don't come back from it.
