Had you nominated Huntsman he might have electorally landslid Obama. Just something to keep in mind when you're offered the choice of a rational moderate Republican versus a car salesman who wasn't a real businessman.
Or someone who doesn't have to change his "views" 25 times just to tack through the primaries to get his name in front of the entire nation. Just a point to consider.
Thank you, Denicos.
Libs were talking about how much they loved McCain in 2000, and how they'd crossover to vote for him. When given the chance, they elected a community organizer instead.
FYI, there are 9.6MM less people who voted for Obama this time around. The next time a Senate Democrat votes in favor of an Obama budget will be the first time in 3 years it's happened (assuming he can convince ONE democrat to do so this year).
It matters little who the Republicans nominate, this was the last election they had a chance in. The entitlements and reckless spending will continue such that the majority of American will not only NOT be paying taxes, they'll be on government assistance. A win/win for Democrats.
You mad, bro?
Huntsman might have gotten my vote.
Sparty is our mascot, we are Spartans.
2008 John McCain was nowhere near as good a candidate as 2000 John McCain. That's why we didn't vote for him in 2008.
tRCMB - Visit at your own risk of being disgusted.
It's because he was always mentioning radical things like, "Hey, maybe we should pay more attention to science" and "let's stop being such dicks to the Democrats and try to actually work together."
Romney was the one for tax cuts and Obama was the evil guy cutting entitlement spending by 716 million, remember?
So....your contention is that the Republicans will NEVER win another election?
I'd like to bet against you on that.
I'll bet you that within the next three elections the republicans will win.....any reasonable amount of money you'd care to bet.
You saying that makes me already dislike him.
716 million, do we even keep track of amounts that small anymore?
Law Professor and US Senator. he was only a "Community Organizer" for a year before going to law school. But the truth has never been a strong suit for you guys.
BTW, I did like McCain in 2000 and worked on his campaign in the WI Primary. And I was wavering between Obama and McCain in 2008....until he picked Caribou Barbie, the Real Housewife of Wasilla. That doomed him. If you connies want to win you have to stop letting the radical nutjobs in the Tea Party take over your party. They have cost the GOP five Senate seats in the last two elections.

I loved McCain in 2000. Would have voted for him over Gore in a heartbeat. Couldn't understand how Bush got the nod.
The 2008 John McCain.......wasn't close to the same guy. Party moved farther right, he went with it. He picked Sarah ****ing Palin as his running mate. Need I say more?
that's just one of those "target" numbers for the GAO to aim for the next budget for a Vegas get-together.
