for an unpaid bill of almost 100,000 dollars. the NAACP is a bunch of scumbags
The lawsuit claims that the NAACP owes the Four Seasons $99,597 for various unpaid charges from July to November for an event held at the downtown hotel, according to a petition filed in Harris County District Court on Jan. 16. An invoice submitted as evidence shows banquet charges of $34,401 and $39,909 in room charges, among other items on the list.
Fixed it so it reflects your true feelings...
"love unconditionally". Princess Lacey
I love that movie.
fixed it again
But I really do like that movie - all star cast and everything.
So I'm wrong here? Clearly the NAACP is a bunch of race hustilin assholes and they should pay up. THis is a disgrace and no wonder the black community is struggling. Even their leaders are a bunch of eff ups
When will black people wake up and realize they need a leader like Mitt Romney? Idiots the lot of 'em.
I would think that Viggo should really LOVE the NAACP. It gives him a reason to use the term "colored people" with nearly zero consequences.
Good for Four Seasons. I am sure they will receive national backlash though.
I think you and Viggo should take the advice of the Four Seasons:
Its a lot cheaper to have your meetings in open field venues you drive to and supply your own illumination
lol at some of you accusing me of being racist. These assholes skipped out on a huge bill and are obviously in the wrong.
LMAO at your lol. Bigot.
I must be crazy to be in a loony bin like this.
It it was just this one thread, you might be right. However almost all of your posts deal with race/religion. If you don't want to be accused of being racist, stop posting race-baiting stuff.
But those bills are probably no big deal to you.
How are they "obviously in the wrong" ? Because they had a lawsuit filed against them (for which the hotel has the burden of proof)? I wonder if you'd be saying if the defendant is "obviously in the wrong" if it was any other entity.... "The Four Seasons is suing Kraft Foods? Kraft is obviously in the wrong!"
"Her husband, former President Bill Clinton, won two terms in the White House but still owes hundreds of thousands of dollars from both winning campaigns."
Pretty big difference between unpaid campaign debts and skipping out on your hotel bill. It doesn't bother me that they have outstanding bills, but I just don't want to hear them whining and playing the race card when they're forced to leave a hefty deposit next time. Do you think you or I would be able to rent a place in the Four Seasons without putting down our credit card/deposit?
I love predetermined outrage over made up future events.
Yeah, Newt's 4.2 mil unpaid bills are not near as a big a deal as a $100,000 unpaid bill.
Leave it to the professionals
'Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable'
- President John F. Kennedy
Predetermined, sure man....I mean it's not like the NAACP has ever sued lottery companies for targeting black people or sued mortgage companies for providing sub-prime loans to African-Americans, sue gun owners, etc...nah man they would never engage in frivilous lawsuits or exploit situations where they perceive themselves to be victims of discrimination....
Again, you're comparing creditors to a hotel company that has provided service and expects to be paid. Creditors are designed to incur risk which could involve non-payment and offset this by charging interest. The Four Seasons established a deadline for payment received, did Newt's creditors do the same or are they collecting interest on their debts? Give me a breakdown of Newt's outstanding liabilities and I'll let you know if he's also worthy of criticism.
From your link:
"Huntsman wrote a check for $1.5 million from his personal funds to cover some of his campaign debts after angry vendors hired lawyers and threatened to sue"
I'm sure the Four Seasons did something similar before actually filing the lawsuit
