the winter that wasn't...
I must be crazy to be in a loony bin like this.
Seems like the global warning deniers have been pretty quiet for awhile...could have something to do with a winter that has avergaed about 5 degrees above typical though that is within the normal deveation...
Lurking on tRCMB since 1996
Syracuse, NY has experienced snowfall nearly 60 inches below normal this winter. No, nothing to see there....

Scroll down the page to my thread on GW and European Treasures
Sorry to disappoint.
Yet Europe has set records for cold temperatures and snow fall. Alaska and Canada have experienced much colder than normal temperatures. Parts of Japan have experienced much more snow than normal.
So because the US has experienced a warmer than normal winter it's all AGW eh?
Additionally, the UAH anomaly was actually NEGATIVE for January.
I already blew your argument out of the water using science in that thread to no reason to post it again.
Denial is more than a river in Egypt for old RQA.....
I was just reminisching about bob's dumb ass weather reports, but if you want to say it's AGCC, then that's up to you.
Why would I waste my time on any of the gibberish that you post?
In that thread you argued that global warming was the cause of the coldest winter in eons over in Europe.
Now in this thread you imply that global warming is the cause of our warm winter
This is called "using science" by Uncle Rico

And yet you have spent an extraordinary percentage of your 7000+ posts in my threads.
wrong. I may chime in for a post or two to destroy any semblance of a point you were trying to make, but you aren't worth much of my time. Truth is, you can't hang.
And the percentage goes........UP
This is my thread, idiot.
Seriously, RQA, you have to be the dumbest regular poster on this board. I'm not sure what's wrong with you, but please, for the sake of humanity, don't procreate.
Dumber than the guy who says "science" tells him gw is causing cold in Europe and warmth in NA?
You may be the OP but you are responding to and quoting ME! Hence the percentage is UP again! . Another poster with RQA on speed dial!

Being closed minded to all science has left you ignorant of how warming does indeed cause some locales to become colder. It's too bad you spend your life in utter ignorance when the alternative is so much better.
MH, you misunderstand.
Its not that gw is causing cooling, it't that it is causing warming and cooling at the same time! If you were more open minded to the science I wouldn't have to explain this to you.
it causes abnormal temperature conditions. Go back and read the articles that completely refuted your bullshit in a previous thread. I'm sorry you cannot accept scientific facts and you think you know more than people who make a living studying climate patterns.
GW causes gw and gc at the same time. My science source, Discovery News, says so. Please leave me alone so I can get back to my experiments on time travel.
It's all in you are raised I guess. RQA's parents didn't teach him the difference between good attention and bad attention.
I feel bad for you.
Why do you even attempt reasonable conversation with him? He's incapable.
yeah, I could see how a scientific study would be a threat to your general ignorance and denial. Just because lack the ability form opinions from anyone other than uneducated talking heads on the radio doesn't mean you know more than those who study climate for a living. In fact, I think scientists could be occupied for years trying to find anyone who is more ignorant than you are. You attack the source but not the substance. Sounds about right.
Here are some more sources for you to try and refute. Let us know when you publish your scientific research. I'm sure Dumbass Monthly is taking submissions these days.
Mr. G Threepwood replied to your 2nd source as follows:
"Sure, Hanson has a record of impeccable scientific discipline and political impartiality!
The fact that the ‘warmest October on record’ was actually September’s data, or that the 1930′s was the warmest decade in the U.S- not the 90′s, both honest mistakes!
As with every GISS study- It’s a bit of a red flag when an institute for SPACE studies avoids the plain satellite data that shows no statistically significant Co2/temp correlation whatsoever, and goes straight for the fudgy surface data from University parking lots etc that can be used to get any result you like.
The fast dying global warming movement has been a humiliation to science, but it’s very ecouraging to see that the more people educate themselves on this subject, the more they reject scientifically illiterate political scare stories.
Global warming now ranks dead last as a public concern, somewhere behind being invaded by Mars?"
And furthermore Rico, your claim is that gw is causing cooling and warming at the same time. You provided nothing to support that absurd claim.
It's YOU that doesn't understand, not me. Go ahead and remain ignorant about the science behind climate change. It's your right to be ignorant if you so choose. Just don't try to tell people that have done actual research that you know what you are talking about when it is totally apparent you don't.
