I don't know a single person
I am voting for Prop 2 and 6
I know a couple of people who just think this whole thing is just to good to be true. One of them is actually a poly sci student and should known better than to trust old mattie.
I can think of two.
But seriously anyone that isn't an employee of Maroun or a member of the family tree who votes yes on 6 is a god-damn idiot.
By far the worst two to vote for.
Let me get this down, $100 million. Oh wait, I have a better idea. Instead of $100 million, how about I send you a hobo's dick cheese?
Not true. Yes on 2 and 4.
Uninformed idiots who base their vote on tv commercials. And Matty Maroun.
Prop 2 will create a nightmare for state and local governments who are trying to balance their budgets. It will result in budget cuts - which means layoffs of teachers, firemen and police and less spending on infrastructure. It will also create a huge amount of uncertainty for years while the 170 labor laws of the State of Michigan are litigated out in the court system.
I like Sam Singh a lot. I donated to his campaign and have spoken with him several times about issues. I respect him and voted for him when he was on the EL City Council. I specifically did not vote for him this morning because he was at a pro-Prop 2 rally yesterday. Prop 2 is HORRIBLE public policy. How someone who was a mayor of a City and had a fiduciary responsibility to have a balanced budget can support Prop 2 is insane. I don't care what party you belong to.
6 has nothin to do with police, teachers, or jobs, but you wouldn't know it from the commercials.
All scare tactics. Dems and Republicans should be against Prop 6.
Bingo. What a goddamn crook.
should and ARE. I am actually in lock step with the Governor on this.
Why? A bridge is a huge deal and expensive and should be approved by voters. From what I hear, Canada wants to pay for the bridge thus would not be subject to this law.
A PROPOSAL TO AMEND THE STATE CONSTITUTION
REGARDING CONSTRUCTION OF
INTERNATIONAL BRIDGES AND TUNNELS
This proposal would:
Require the approval of a majority of voters at a statewide election and in each municipality where “new international bridges or tunnels for motor vehicles” are to be located before the State of Michigan may expend state funds or resources for acquiring land, designing, soliciting bids for, constructing, financing, or promoting new international bridges or tunnels.
Create a definition of “new international bridges or tunnels for motor vehicles” that means, “any bridge or tunnel which is not open to the public and serving traffic as of January 1, 2012.”

Sam will win, and hopefully prop 2 as well. No on 6
The deal for the new bridge is signed and sealed but matty the maroon would go to court to have it stopped if 6 passes so he can continue to maintain his monopoly in Detroit. The 100 million a year he makes off the Ambassador Bridge is a lot of incentive for him to quash his competition.
When the state builds new highways, buildings, or buys all new police cars for the State Police it is expensive. Do we need to have a state-wide vote on that too? We elect legislators and a governor to make the laws for a reason. And Matty is going to argue that Prop 6 will apply to the new bridge. Prop 6 will only delay the bridge while the courts sort it all out, but the danger is that Canada may say screw it and build a new bridge in New York instead. Which would really be an awful result for everyone in Michigan not named Matty Moroun.
5 is the worst, 2/6 are probably 2nd and 3rd worst though

Wow you are dumb.
You are no on 3 aren't you like a hippy
Sam is a good friend of mine. Very good person.
I know he will win and I still like him personally. I know he's a good guy and will do a good job. I didn't vote for McGillicuddy either, I just left it blank. Just didn't feel right about giving Singh my vote after that. I would have thought as a former mayor he would have understood the implications on the City budget and School Board.

Bobby Sak's for Sanitation Engineneer 2012!!!!
Does it cost a billion to build a road or highway?
Why do I care if Matty builds the bridge with his own money. The bottom line is a bridge is built if we need one and I don't have to worry about my state wasting my tax dollars to build it. Sounds like a pretty good deal to me. I think some of you have a personal issue with this guy thus are unable to see any positive in him building the bridge.
You are a fucking idiot.
You had a heck of a rebuttal backed up by facts.
Freep.com: Jennifer Henderson, a law professor at University of Detroit Mercy, John Mogk, a law professor at Wayne State University, and Marcia Valiante of the University of Windsor said the Crossing Agreement between Gov. Rick Snyder and Canadian Transport Minister Denis Lebel is crystal clear that Canada pays for the bridge and then recoups Michigan's share, about $550 million, from future bridge tolls -- not from Michigan taxpayers.
Claims that have bombarded Michigan voters for months that taxpayers will be stuck with the bill for a multi-billion dollar bridge to Canada are not based in reality, said three independent law professors asked by the Free Press to review an international Crossing Agreement signed in June.
Once again, people like you reaffirmed why I voted yes. This is all you got.
