Hey....would it be possible to give a few of us the power to move threads to a specific board reserved for spam?
- not to delete the thread....you guys could do that later
- no other moderator powers
- if you are concerned about someone abusing that power just monitor who does what
- you could make it possible for Jr. Mods to move threads back in case someone makes an error
Glad to see someone else breathing :)
Pulled ya up from under the water! Though a temporary fix not a bad idea - I would not even delete greenrocks!
I'm not sure it's possible to give people a part of a Mod tool
I don't see any reason doc couldn't get full mod responsibility. He's okay...for a Romney voter.
The Mods have lost control of the board, and the "owner" does not care. Is this not true (I understand how many hours it takes to be involved)?
I would rephrase that first part to say the Mods are losing the battle but are fighting a good fight.
Do not go quietly into the night - and I am here with you. Bigger solution needs to be found.
if 247 has the time to add a "junior moderator" feature then they have the time to fix the spam problem
Agree - so why don't "they" do it?
It does not appear that they will/can get the subscribers at cost to end it - yet they do nothing. Such a benevolent master.

To be honest most boards are predominantly paid boards. That would give almost no incentive to fix the problem.
I agree here with Prevert. Just make Doc a full mod. He can take care of things over here. What would be the problem with that? He's okay....for a liberal.
