and arm themselves.
Milwaukee County Sheriff David A. Clarke Jr. set off alarm bells Friday with a radio spot some view as a call for citizens to arm themselves.
"Nothing wrong with shooting as long as the right people get shot! " - Harry Callahan.
"You have a duty to protect yourself and your family. We're partners now. Can I count on you?"
That is awesomeness. You have my vote sir.
"You could beg for mercy from a violent criminal, hide under the bed, or you can fight back."
The loyal opposition got played on that one. This guy gets it and they still don't. There is some strange incentive to sacrifice you or your family's life to a bad guy instead of doing something about it.
That is something that will never work, nothing is supposed to work like that.
Thoughts from wells libs?
Exactly. Just like no one can deal with the David Mamet article I posted. Can't argue with truth.
Another idiot gun nut sheriff who doesn't want to do his job.
You have never posted anything remotely close to the truth in any thread.
You clearly didn't look at the picture.

I never understood how lefty males explain this to their wives.
Question authority. Power to the people
He's a taker doncha know.
Not all of us married mindless incapable bints who need protecting from the world by paranoid men with guns!
Based on the blather posted here in Wells Hall, I would have thought EVERYBODY needed protecting from paranoid men with guns.
Yes, I did realize that. He lives off the government after all.
The Milwaukee mayor is not too happy about the comments.
I guess you better hope not...'eh?
Well the Sherif has a point and he is correct...but he sure loves a pissing match between himself and everyone else. Then Charlie Skyes gives the Sherif all the time in the word and then they blow each other on the radio. It is quite entertaining.
No need to hope when you don't live in fear .
Who are the ones living in fear? I say it's the left for sure. The left are the ones constantly trying to take freedoms away out of some fear that they may harm some imaginary utopian "public good". They want to take our right to bear arms, keep us from smoking in our own private business, stop us from drinking big sodas, stop the children of farmers from doing chores on their own family farm, not let people voluntarily sell and purchase raw milk, and a million other things that they "fear" might be harmful. Fear drives the left, and they constantly use it to institute their authoritarian agenda. You can be afraid of guns all you want. Solution: just don't own one. The right actually isn't fearful of personal responsibility of gun ownership and self defense. We are not afraid of personal responsibility of any kind and embrace the sometimes unpredictable nature of life that comes with living in a free society. You lefties are the ones living in fear. A fear so strong you will give up any amount of liberty for some perceived illusion of security promised to you by the state.
You sound paranoid. You probably need more guns .
Just remember to get a diet Coke.
You sound like an elitist.
He's also a black guy.
