Weird, I thought the "science was settled". I guess "GreenSpartan" from Wells Hall needs to set these flat earthers straight
Former NASA Scientists, Astronauts Criticize Agency on Climate Change Position and Policy of Ignoring Empirical Evidence 49 former NASA scientists and astronauts sent a letter to NASA Administrator Charles Bolden last week criticizing the agency for it’s role in advocating a high degree of certainty that man-made CO2 is a major cause of climate change while neglecting empirical evidence that calls the theory into question, according to Leighton Steward of Plants Need CO2. 49 former NASA scientists and astronauts sent a letter to NASA Administrator Charles Bolden last week criticizing the agency for it’s role in advocating a high degree of certainty that man-made CO2 is a major cause of climate change while neglecting empirical evidence that calls the theory into question, according to H. Leighton Steward of the non-profit Plants Need CO2, who attended the meetings when the letter was drafted. The group, which includes seven Apollo astronauts and two former directors of NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston, indicated in the letter that they are disappointed over the failure of NASA, and specifically the Goddard Institute For Space Studies (GISS), to make an objective assessment of all available scientific data on climate change. H. Leighton Steward, chairman of the non-profit Plants Need CO2, noted that many of the former NASA scientists harbor doubts about the significance of the C02-climate change theory and have concerns over NASA’s advocacy on the issue. While making presentations in late 2011 to many of the signatories of the letter, Steward realized that the NASA scientists should make their concerns known to NASA and the GISS. “These American heroes – the astronauts that took to space and the scientists and engineers that put them there – are simply stating their concern over NASA’s unusual advocacy for an unproven theory,” said Leighton Steward. There’s a concern that if it turns out that CO2 is not a major cause of climate change, NASA will have put the reputation of NASA, NASA’s current and former employees, and even the very reputation of science itself at risk of public ridicule and distrust. The unbridled advocacy of CO2 being the major cause of climate change is unbecoming of NASA’s history of making an objective assessment of all available scientific data prior to making decisions or public statements. /s/ Dr. Donald M. Greenspartan would just say that they are not "real scientists" so their views don't count.
That's fine, as long as NASA, among others, continue to supply data, CLIMATE SCIENTISTS can analyze the data.
No big deal.
I must be crazy to be in a loony bin like this.
No he wouldn't. And the fact you anc compound can't go through a day without misrepresenting other posters' views is pathetic.
Science is never settled. Thats the whole fucking point, people have rational disagreements settled with objective and testable evidence.
The amazing part is that by continuing this cycle if you're wrong, eventually it will come out.
NO, IT'S SETTLED. THE GOD DAMN SCIENCE IS SETTLED AND WE MUST IMMEDIATELY PASS GLOBAL LAWS AND TAXES TO LIMIT YOUR DRIVING, YOUR CONSUMPTION, AND HOW OFTEN YOU USE WATER.
THROW FOXBAT IN THE GULAG. HE'S ONE OF THOSE FLAT EARTHERS. RACIST.
And you are not qualified to comment on the data or the analytical methodology or climate science in general.
Personally, I like my scientists to focus on empirical evidence and stay away from the "imperical" stuff. That stuff's bad for you.
That's pretty good. Do you do anyone else?
Seriously, what formal training have you had in science? I'm not even going to ask about climate science because I know the answer to that one. lol
So what is your opinion on membrane theory? Is this the grand unified theory we have been looking for to unite the theories of relativity and quantum mechanics or is it a crock being put forth by elitist theoretical physicists seeking grant money?
You can comment on anything youi want. Doesn't make you qualified to do so.
Anyway, your reply answered my question. Thanks.
You make it too easy.
Soufflé, I'm straight, I scrape my plate/,Sade, I'm a smooth operator... I DROP TOP MY WHIP!
Wow. Good one
