"The belief that we have to have stronger background checks, that we can do a much better job in terms of keeping these magazine clips with high capacity out of the hands of folks who shouldn't have them"
Plugs must have given him an update on his task force's findings before this presser

Does it matter? He could say "shooty shooty bang bang buncha bullets holder" and everyone would know what he is talking about.
I'm on your side in this debate, fallen... but I don't think this is the argument you should be highlighting. Because I'm not sure what you're trying to prove, it has nothing to do with the point that "the other side" is trying to convey.
Citizens having magazine clips...bad
Marine Corpse having magazine clips...good.
That analogy is almost as dumb as your schtick.
"No one cares what you know, until they know how much you care." Mark Dantonio
An article cut from Guns and Ammo magazine is an assault clip.
Remember when Bush referred to the www as the internets? Everybody knew what he meant, but that didn't stop the Lefties from ZOMG! ROFLcopter@eleventy!!!
I guess it's wrong for the right to bust on President Precious' verbal gaffes. Probably racist, too.
does it matter? they are scary looking things that go into other scary looking things.
must ban, public health, save one life, finland, assault, reasonable,
go back to canada doucher.
That is a new term too. What is a magazine clip, something like a dog cat?
Also the despots have introduced another one. As more people are educated to difference between real assault weapons and look a likes, they have moved to "military grade" weapons.
Question authority. Power to the people
Obama only talks like that with his "body men".
Remember "cop-killer bullets?" Heh. Never mind that cops use them too and they are more safe to bystanders as opposed to FMJ rounds.
They've also recently switched from "gun control" to "gun safety." Control sounds too draconian, I guess, even though that's what it is.
Why are you so afraid?
I'm not afraid of anything. I have an military-styled assault killing machine loaded with 30 rounds of cop-killer bullets.

the internets are those tube things Al Gore created.
All you talk about is armed thugs invading your home? Why would they do that?
If you want to use guns and shoot people why not move to the Congo or somewhere where there is real action?
A gun is not a protective device.

Rooty tooty point and shooty.
I love how a misstep on terminology means that the stronger background checks argument is invalid, in fallen's eyes. Prosecuting people who lie on their background checks is something that even the NRA supports.
tRCMB - Visit at your own risk of being disgusted.
Madhatter has a new schtick?
He's a black guy from Chicago. He knows about clips.
What is that, a Titleist? A hole in one...
A gun is not a protective device.
Well, there's no need for the Secret Service to carry them when protecting President Precious, is there? Eight guys should be able to handle the lone single bad guy that they might come into contact with.
No need for Gov. Cumo or Mayor Bloomberg to have armed security details, either.
Same with Hollywood stars like Jennifer Aniston, who's calling for moar gun control, even though she's retained armed guards employed by Screen International Security Services to protect her.
We need to keep those magazine clips out of the hands of those Mexican gringos.
I guess that's kind of an insult coming from the board's biggest douche.
Here's a little tip. To post on a board based in the U.S., I can remain safely at home here in one of the great cities of the world.
Little redneck momma's boys like you are funny. Mom come home and fix your mac and cheese dinner yet?
That's almost as funny as you posing as an independent businessman from MA.
Of course a loser like you thinks guns and death are laughing matters. Maybe your kin folks can have some belly laughs real soon.
I'm not trying to prove anything, I'm correctly pointing out that if the President feels compelled to executive-order his way around the Constitution then he should at least know what he's talking about. It would be like Bush trying to trample on our First Amendment rights via fiat by proclaiming that something has to be done about "the interwebs" because the Founding Fathers wouldn't have included that as a form of protected speech.
Obama always does this, he jukes and jives with his language so as intentionally prevaricate. Is this intentional or merely ignorance on his part? Either way it's weak, liberals are already making up enough names for guns and guns parts in this fear campaign of theirs, asking for factually correct information is something that should always be highlighted.
BTW, notice how Obama can get away with using gun analogies ( Republicans put a gun to my head )...Remember the reaction when Palin did something similar
Exactly my point...double standards, without them liberals would have no standards at all
I'm glad our president isn't a gun nut.
