I think technically it was his body guard but still....
The recent revelation that the head of Media Matters walked the streets of Washington with a Glock-toting personal assistant acting as a bodyguard may make it a little awkward for the group the next time it seeks a donation from a gun control advocacy group.
you do know "pro gun control" does not equal "anti-gun," right? Oh wait, this is RQA posting. Nevermind.
Leave it to FauxNews to manufacture controversy against someone who has exposed their blatant misinformation for years. If you can't refute the message then attack the messenger.
keep proving you've got nothing, connies.

Anti-rights is probably more like it.
No I did not know that
So you can be pro-gun control and pro-gun?
How about anti-gun control and anti-gun?
Or is it the same as abortion where GRR is pro-choice but doesn't like abortion?
I don't know anything about the Media Matters guy, so in his case that might not be an accurate analogy. However, in many cases, such an analogy would be extremely fitting. I'm not surprised that you lack the intellectual capacity to grasp the subtlety of such a position.
A society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they shall never sit in.
Oh yeah, and in before some Libtard chimes in with the obligatory, "I have a gun that I use to shoot Bambis but no one needs one of them there scary black pistols with laser guided cop killer super ammo."
Allowing people to have a choice but choosing yourself not to make that choice is just about damn opposite of not wanting others to have choices but favoring those choices for yourself.
Or better yet - anti-media guns!
GRR - you've got some real competition in the idiot logic department.
Egotism is the anesthetic that dulls the pain of stupidity. - Frank Leahy.-- If you're going to be stupid, be smart about it. - Mike Milbury
Looks like media matters is more upset with Fox than you are Bob!
Liberal media watchdog group Media Matters once contemplated harassing Fox News employees with yard signs in their neighborhoods, hiring private investigators to dig into their personal lives and retaining a major law firm to study legal action against the network, according to a report Tuesday in the Daily Caller.
Except they choose to harass only Fox News employees and leave the rest of the main stream media alone.
DutchBoy; define "gun control."
It's amusing how your rolling smile has become a replacement for "I've got nothing" in your posts.

yes, yes, and yes
You seriously don't understand the logic fail there?
So your entire thread is started by you telling another lie. Big surprise.
I am in trollwrinkle's head so much he responds to any posts before I post.
RQA should pray for him.
RQA still can't get his head around the fact that although I think abortion isn't a great choice I have more faith in women to decide if they want to end a pregnancy than the small government loving RQA dictating they must bear a child to term.
Same with guns. I don't carry a weapon. I don't even load the guns I have at home to protect me against potential home invasions because I figure they can steal most anything becase its all replaceable. If they threaten my family I will use lethal means other than guns.
RQA and trollwrinkle love to talk about freedom as long as they are the ones limiting other's freedom.
Where, with the guns?
See, I totally "get" your abortion stance, because I share it. But the difference is that we believe in providing that choice to all - we just wouldn't chose that option, personally.
The anti-gun folks wish to restrict choices about carrying and/or owning guns from the general public. You can't possibly draw a parallel between the two.
Your myopia is showing again. No one is saying people shouldn't own guns. NO ONE. The discussion is whether those idiots who only feel complete if they have a metal penis in their pocket should be allowed to carry them anywhere they want to, even if it is into a private business that doesn't want guns on it's premises. You say that anyone should be able to carry a gun anywhere, anytime. And I say that's insane. If I don't want you to have a gun on my property, why should you get to ignore that? Or don't private property rights count?
By the same token, if a private business is okay with some idiot carrying his metal penis, I don't think it's out of line for that to be posted by the door so those that don't feel comfortable being in the same establishment as some drunk with a gun can exercise their perogative to go some place else. Or should that also be illegal? Should the law that lets you carry your metal penis, force me to patronize an establishment if I don't want to? That seems to be your position.
Actually, there are plenty of nut bags that would suggest that people shouldn't own guns, or that there should be restrictions on how people own guns. How many rounds someone's magazine should hold. How many firearms a person should be allowed to buy in a set period of time. Where and how someone should be allowed to carry said firearm. So suggest that no one is saying people shouldn't own guns is idiotic and I can't even bother to try to make sense of the rest of your blather if that's your opening statement.
In other words, you cannot refute me, so you dodge the truth again. No surprise.
You ask me how I feel about gun control (whatever that is supposed to entail) and I tell you that I am for it. How many guns do I own? How do I feel about people owning guns? You ask me about gun control and I tell you that I am against it. How many guns do I own? How do I feel about people owning guns?
Don't talk about Trevelin' man getting shot.
