From a Biblical perspective, that is not a relevant question. God is eternal. Always there. I know that we humans cannot wrap our heads around that, but - per the Bible - God is eternal. Always, always, always there.

We can't wrap our heads around an eternal, invisible sky deity... yet we've wrapped it around our heads that matter needed a creator.
