I guess you're tapped out. I'm sure Bullwrinkle will hear your cries for help and try to rescue you - even though you say he's a dodger.

You two are so cute together.

Standing by your quote isn't a real strong position Prevert.

The obvious implication is that you prefer to play your semantical games while ignoring the big picture of any discussion you enter into.

I quoted you exactly. According to your quote, Bullwrinkle is a dodger. Logic is not a "semantical game".

    Pervis Muldoon

  • This thread is classic Pervis.

Starts off with at least attempting to debate the point. Fails and then shifts the argument to some inane semantical point he thinks he has found. Failing that the name calling starts (and insulting women while he is at it) and then realizing he is floundering hopes to start an argument with someone else to free himself out of this one.

    Predictable, but entertaining. lol

Wrong again Prevert. It is perfectly reasonable to ask for a clarification of the terms you used in your question.

You have dodged that for weeks. Why not just clarify your terms and move on? It would appear you realize how foolish you look trying to make the claim that because I view honest elections as a reasonable government function I am a "big government" guy.

That is the basic stupidity you are trying to weasel out of.

Yet you answered that exact same question without any clarification, so you obviously didn't think it needed any.

By your standards and your definition, Bullwrinkle is a dodger. He probably won't be mad at you, though. He doesn't get mad at fellow Republicans. wink_msu

It's fun to argue with the logic-impaired.

You're not a "lair"; you're a liar. But you don't have to be. Just tell me that, since you can't find a single question I've been asked (and I've been asked many questions on this board) that I haven't answered, you know I'm not a dodger. That's all you have to do to show that you're not a liar.

You've been asked many times what you define as "middle class". You've never answered. That makes you a liar and a dodger. Could we just combine the two terms to save time and call you a lodger from now on?roflmao

I've actually answered that question before. You could define middle class as the middle fifth, the middle third, etc., based on household income.

You're not mad at RQA for calling you a dodger, are you? I told him you don't get mad at fellow Republicans. I hope that's right, because I'd hate to see something like this ruin what you two have together.

By the way, you can call me a "lodger" all you want. That doesn't sound too bad.

That's not a definition. Try again. How do you define the middle class? Be specific, which is it? The middle fifth, third, eighth. And what is "household income" What government statistic are you using for that?

Well said. Although as time goes by, it's hard to see the GOP as the "lesser of two evils". I know the Dems are out to screw anyone who has the nerve to be successful, and to redistribute wealth to those unwilling to earn it on their own. But at least they're up front about it. With the GOP you have no idea what they are going to do. They talk a good game, but that's about it.

Bill Buckley, founder of the National Review, followed a policy of supporting the most conservative candidate that "could be elected."

The Tea Party has challenged and defeated a number of Republican politicians that did not keep their promises to conservatives.

I have no problem with that so long as it supports a viable candidate. The one that ran against Sen Reid and the woman that was once a witch do not qualify.

The conservative candidate has to be far more polished to win a competitive race. They cannot depend on the biased press to carry them over the finish line. On the contrary they must fight the media, almost all the unions, the eco-extremists, etc... in addition to their liberal opponent.

In this election the choice is between a very liberal, dishonest and extremely partisan Obama or a moderately conservative (but inconsistent) Romney.

It is not a great choice. It never is. However, the conservative has only two choices. 1. Hold his or her nose and vote for a flawed Romney or 2. Stay at home (which is the same as voting for Obama).

At the very least Romney will listen to conservatives and can be influenced by them.

What would Buckley choose to do?

  • Being identified as a dodger obviously bothers Prevert. Hope I haven't hurt his feelings, but perhaps he will now alter his behavior and actually discuss issues in a grown-up fashion. Not likely, but one can hope. And change!

You saw his "definition" of "middle class". I don't think he has any intention or capability of discussing anything in a grown-up fashion.

Of course you haven't hurt my feelings. If my feelings were hurt every time someone made an accusation they couldn't back up, I wouldn't be posting here.

Wasn't I right about Bullwrinkle? You can call him a dodger all you want, and as long as you're a fellow Republican, he won't get mad at you.

Nope - still ready and able to answer. As soon as you provide your specific definition of who is "middle class". I'll wait right here for you lodger.roflmao

You claim you need someone to define "middle class" for you before you'll answer this question...

    Read through these two scenarios:

    1. The government goes through a list of eleven million registered voters, determines which people need to be investigated further, sends them letters to tell them that the government has information that they're not citizens and to let them know that they must prove their citizenship within thirty days, meets the ones who respond and looks through their documents to judge whether they are citizens.

    2. The government does nothing.

Which of the two takes a larger government?

I don't see how this requires a middle class definition to answer. Congratulations - you've taken dodging to a new level.

Wrong - you falsely claimed you never failed to answer a question. In another of the threads you got your arse kicked, you had some sort of tax plan that you claimed would ease the burden on the middle class. You were asked many times to define who the middle class were....you ran and hid like a little girl instead. So, let's recap. You continue to dodge the simplest of questions, you lied when you claimed you hadn't answered questions, and now you're back to your idiotic undefined scenarios. Ooops there's another question you never answered. What does the "government does nothing" scenario mean? Does this mean Florida ceases all attempts at enforcing voter laws and lays off those employees? Ready set - lie and dodge. Saddle up lodger.roflmao
