  • Disappointing to find out the special prosecutor's investigation was not as thorough as she had described it.

    "Jorge Rodriguez, Zimmerman's next-door neighbor, told Reuters that when he saw Zimmerman the day after the incident, "he had two big, butterfly bandages on the back of his head, and another big bandage...on the bridge of his nose." He was talking to a police detective in his driveway.

    Rodriguez's wife Audria also said she saw the bandages and a third neighbor, who spoke only on condition of anonymity, agreed with the Rodriguez couple's account. "I saw two bandages on the back of his head, and his nose was all swollen up," said the witness, who had watched from a nearby second-floor window."

    "The neighbors said they spoke to Sanford police and the FBI in their investigations but did not recall speaking to the office of special prosecutor Angela Corey, who charged Zimmerman with second-degree murder."

  • notice that the noise about this case has died down.....at least from those of us who just wanted a real investigation and Zimmerman arrested. Now the right, who decided to take up the cause of an out of control vigilante, is the one screaming in hopes to support their child killing hero.

    Nice to see all of these "eyewitnesses" for Zimmerman suddenly appear after all of this time. Give it a few days and some Zimmerman relative will say he was playing golf with him in Mexico that day.....you know, because the right thinks he's Mexican.

  • What a load of shit. It's clear as day on the police video that Zimmerman has nothing wrong with his face or head. But throw some bandages on there for the hell of it and watch inbred trash like spartanmatt (also known as axel hoyer's bitch) and fallenpudpile scream that he was justified in shooting an unarmed black teenager.

    The paramedics on the scene called off an ambulance for Zimmerman. He did not require hospital/emergency room care the night of the altercation/shooting.

    That speaks much more to his injuries that some bandages spotted by his next door neighbor after Zimmerman had time to put his story together a bit better.

    His head was smashed into the concrete several times? And he just got up and walked away? Yeah, right.

My only point was showing that it would appear that the Sanford police department's investigation was able to uncover witnesses that the special prosecutor's couldn't. Wasn't the whole point of bringing in a special prosecutor because the SPD's own investigation was sloppy?

    Stating that they've seen the guy with bandages does not = coming to his defense, it does not show "support" for Zimmerman. That you think otherwise and see it as a "fact" in the case shows your bias. Those bandages could have been slapped on in the car 5 minutes before he arrived.

    BTW, what difference does it make what ethnicity the witnesses were?

    the witness is Hispanic? I had no idea. I guess I don't immediately judge people based upon their names as you apparently do. That's not very open minded of you.

    It makes a difference to the poster who I made the comments to. The only thing known about those witnesses is their ethnicity, and by Hatter automatically assuming they are lying can only be based on this one known fact. I know 1 +1 doesn't equal 2 in your world but it does to most...

    Since the video of Zimmerman at the cop shop showed he had zero injuries, and since he received zero care from paramedics at the scene, if he ever had bandages after the altercation it has to be assumed they were from some incident that took place after he murdered Trayvon Martin. So if these "witnesses" are claiming that Zimmerman had bandages and bruises from the Martin incident, they are lying.

    it's funny and yet sad to see the connies rushing to defend someone based on the color of their skin because of the color of the skin of the person they killed. It's nice to see where they really fall when it comes to ethnicity.
