I respectfully disagree. that is too much punishment for temporarily chasing someone on foot.

I'm don't completely understand what you are trying to say.

What do mean by "too much punishment"?

And if all that happened that night was a "temporary chase" I doubt we would be talking about this right now.

Edit: Just saw your edit. The dispatcher told Zimmerman not to follow BEFORE Zimmerman took off on foot.

i'm pretty sure the dispatcher asked him if he was chasing him. then he said yes. then she said "you don't have to do that"

I understand the possibilities given the rule of law. But there is more than enough evidence to cast reasonable doubt on "self defense", IMHO.

So no, I don't think it gets tossed.

But hey, keep your fingers crossed, angle.

I think the complete and total fear of the reaction will force this one to trial, regardless of evidence or circumstances.

It may or may not be, but I think that's the reality. And he brought it on himself by playing cops and robbers.

And this isn't the first time the guy has acted erratically and violent.

It's a terrible thing that happened, but Zimmerman will live with consequences no matter what a jury says.

At the very least I hope this teaches other people a lesson about the responsibilities that come with carrying a gun and staying in control of the situation you find yourself in. If Zimmerman waits in his car and meets the police as instructed, he's likely back to normal life. But he didn't, so he isn't.

I must be crazy to be in a loony bin like this.

Since the video of Zimmerman at the cop shop showed he had zero injuries, and since he received zero care from paramedics at the scene, if he ever had bandages after the altercation it has to be assumed they were from some incident that took place after he murdered Trayvon Martin. So if these "witnesses" are claiming that Zimmerman had bandages and bruises from the Martin incident, they are lying.

That is incorrect, you must have saw the grainy video--ABC had an enhanced video that showed injuries.

No, the dispatcher asked if he was following (Zimmerman is in his vehicle), he replies in the affirmative, at which point dispatcher tells him they don't need him to do that, and that is when Zimmerman says OK, exits his vehicle and starts the foot chase.

What a load of shit. It's clear as day on the police video that Zimmerman has nothing wrong with his face or head. But throw some bandages on there for the hell of it and watch inbred trash like spartanmatt (also known as axel hoyer's bitch) and fallenpudpile scream that he was justified in shooting an unarmed black teenager.

ABC enhanced the video and showed injuries, and now their is a picture of Zimmerman head from behind.

i don't remember that being a fact but i'll assume it for now. aside from the court and law, i think eternal no peace on earth is too much for his indiscretion. i don't think he deserves that if in fact he did kill him because he was being brutally attacked.

Now you are lying-----everyone saw the cuts on the back of the head when the 2nd version of the video was released.

CNN---1st Grainy video---can't really see anything.

ABC video---clear as day, injuries on back of Zimmerman.

You can check the transcripts from the 911 call if you want. If you find something different, please let me know.

And again, as Will Munny once said, "deserves got nothing to do with it". IMO, unless he has no conscience and if he finds a very good place to hide, he will have no peace. He brought it on himself.

    Sad state of affairs.

Absolutely, categorically incorrect. He was huffing and puffing that's why the dispatcher asked if he was following him. And further, the dispatcher specifically told him to " Let me know if he does anything, ok? Just let me know if this guy does anyting else" So there you go, the dispatcher told him to keep an eye on him and let the dispatcher know what he's doing. He then took off running so the only way Zimmerman could follow the orders of the dispatcher let him know what Martin is doing. When the dispatcher then realized he was on foot, he was told he didn't have to. At which point he also followed the dispatcher's command and said OK, headed back to his car and then got jacked. Case closed. Below is the transcript verifying everything I just wrote.

    Zimmerman:

    Uh, huh.

Something’s wrong with him. Yep, he’s coming to check me out.

He’s got something in his hands. I don’t know what his deal is. [01:20]

    911 dispatcher:

Let me know if he does anything, OK?

    Zimmerman:

    OK.

    911 dispatcher:

We’ve got him on the wire. Just let me know if this guy does anything else.

    Zimmerman:

    OK.

These ********. They always get away.

When you come to the clubhouse, you come straight in and you go left. Actually, you would go past the clubhouse. [1:39]

    911 dispatcher:

OK, so it’s on the left hand side of the clubhouse?

    Zimmerman:

Yeah. You go in straight through the entrance and then you would go left. You go straight in, don’t turn and make a left.

    He’s running. [2:08]

    911 dispatcher:

He’s running? Which way is he running?

    Zimmerman:

Down toward the other entrance of the neighborhood. [2:14]

    911 dispatcher:

OK, which entrance is that he’s headed towards?

    Zimmerman:

    The back entrance.

[It sounds like Zimmerman says under his breath, ‘F-ing coons’ at 2:22]

    NOTE:

[Listen here at 1:17 for CNN's edited frame]
[Read CNN Senior Legal Analyst Jeffrey Toobin's explanation of why the use of a racial slur is critical in this case.]
    911 dispatcher:

    Are you following him? [2:24]

    Zimmerman:

    Yeah. [2:25]

    911 dispatcher:

    OK.

We don’t need you to do that. [2:26]

Not backpedaling at all. I still see no verifiable sign of injury to Zimmerman. The "bloody" picture is clearly NOT the one from the video which leads to the conclusion, it might be a photoshopped image by the Zimmerman team to bolster his claim of self defense. Or are you saying no one has ever faked evidence?

Where was this photo a month ago?

Probably from the same sources who put outvfake photos of Trayvon, which the right, which has to politicize everything these days, ate up.

Glad to see the conservatives and white power movement working so openly together on this case.

yes, it was. However, when Zimmerman was charged I decided to go back to my usual one since the whole thing would have never been an issue if he'd been rightly arrested in the first place after her murdered Trayvon.

Liberals are an amazingly tolerant bunch. A couple of Hispanic witnesses come to his defense and they're automatically dismissed as liars. But yet when black people due the same to one of their own it's the truth. I'm finally starting to figure this whole thing out....some people have strange definitions of the word progressive

Dude, this is hardly news. Libs will preach tolerance, but only when it furthers their agenda. Straight out of the dems playbook. Of crouse none of those multiple witnesses are credible, it ruins their myth and all the energy the dems spent into making this non-story and huge deal. The truth is sometimes your friend, and sometimes it isn't.
