Let's be honest, who ISN'T still blaming Dubya??

  • Other than Obama, that is.

    1. The polls linked by my conservative friends here show that 68% of all American still blame Dubya, and 49% of all REPUBLICANS still blame Dubya.
    2. Republicans disagreed with Dubya's TARP.
    3. Republicans disagreed with Dubya running up the debt (or so they say, although I don't remember much noise about it at the time).
    4. Republicans abandoned Dubya and Cheney at the last convention, and are again avoiding them like the plague at the upcoming convention.

To my knowledge, Barack Obama might be in the minority of those remaining who AREN'T still blaming Dubya. (BTW, I'm in that minority too. I don't think Dubya has anything to do with anything any more.)

after all, most blame 9/11 on Clinton...

Apparently it's ok if THEY blame Dubya, but it's not ok if a Dem does the same.

But let's give credit to our President, who doesn't blame Dubya, and hasn't for quite some time now. If he says "We inherited a shitty situation", well duh! We all know that. But let's not beat a dead Dubya here. The dude is choppin' wood on his ranch these days.

  • I just wish the Republicans would spend more of their time thanking Obama for keeping us safe.

  • You guys are still trying to run against Bush? Will the chants at the DNC convention by "Blame Bush!" "Blame Bush". Its time to grow up and take responsibility for your failings.

You need to read it more carefully. Thread FAIL

Interestingly, Gallup finds that “90% [of Democrats polled] blame Bush, in contrast to 19% who blame Obama. Republicans, however, are more ecumenical in their blame, with 83% blaming Obama a great deal or moderate amount and 49% ascribing the same level of blame to Bush. Republicans, in short, are significantly more willing to blame their most recent Republican president than are Democrats willing to blame Obama.”

BTW, you called bullsh1t on my claim....time for a retraction there don't ya think?

Gallup Poll: Americans Still Blame Bush More Than Obama For Economic Woes | Mediaite

A new Gallup poll released Thursday morning claims that, despite his leaving office three years ago, Americans place more blame for the nation's economic woes on former President George W. Bush than on current President Barack Obama.

And from 2001-2009 all we heard was it was Clinton's fault that dubya spent the surplus then borrowed money to give millionaires and billionaires a tax cut. dubya was NEVER held responsible for ANYTHING he did, yet he was the head of the party of responsibility. I still haven't figured that one out.
