Yep, he is a sure thing for re-election. mittens has zero chance. If the house gets cleaned of some of the brain dead teabaggers and the senate drops a couple of the connie idiots things might just start turning around a bit faster too.

We are on the edge our our seats, Hatter..... So the Democrat super majority the first two years Obama owned Washington wasn't good enough? Well, we see where that got us. How will that turn things around faster? What is Obama's plan? Even more spending? $5T more - nothing. Aimless, baseless, goal-less, vision-less, results-less and uninspiring. With the exception of the career takers in this country, the productive Americans have had it.

And now, since he is in full campaign mode we can only expect more empty promises, continued insane spending, waste, fraud, abuse, pay for play politics, blaming, and more government (from private sector flunkies) telling us they know better for the same horrible, stagnate results. WTF is he going to run on? Wall Street success? I thought he was an Occupy guy and they were evil?

You have no clue about how many people residential building employs?

Did you think that was one of the reasons to keep feeding the housing bubble?

The dems did not have a super majority the first two years. There were only 58 dems in the Senate, and they didn't have 2/3rds of the House. But don't let the facts get in the way of your insanity. Your race hatred is showing through nice and clear though.

GRR Spartan. Nice! Mr. 14,000+ posts. Interesting. You must pride yourself as productive member of the workforce - if you work? How many jobs are you out there creating? You must be another Obama taker that whines about being a victim while everyone else chooses to work circles around you doing whatever they can in the Obama economy of massive debt, 9% unemployment, massive unfunded liabilities (aka Democrat bribes for votes)?

So 45 Million people on Food Stamps is a good thing? Nice strategy. What else is Obama running on? If Wall Street is so evil, why do you give a shit about the DJA? What specifically has Obama done to cause that? Invest our tax money in campaign contributor green businesses doomed to fail ala Solyndra?

When will your lazy ass Democrats that own the Senate actually present a budget? It's been two years. How about stop being obstructionists, vote to pass the Ryan budget to cut spending and get some responsibility and accountability instead of the decades old Liberal bribe strategy of waste, fraud and abuse as evident and demonstrated by those private sector flunkies in the GSA?

And what about the deficit? Give me an example how the Federal Government made up of private sector rejects will make USA business competitive?

America is done with the daily Obama excuses while blaming everyone else on why he has sucked. That is not leadership. He is one of the biggest dividers, thin skinned, defensive, aimless Presidents ever to lead the USA.

What is he going to run on? Why we should hate others who make things happen every day?

You are quite laughable. Keep taking.

    POTY right here. clap

You are so pathetically weak. Why does everything have to do with someone's race? Who CARES what color anyone is any more? Obama pretty much could do whatever he wanted and failed to lead. His policies have delivered zero successful results. small business is still struggling. New college grads with massive debt can't find jobs. debt is $16T. We have an ever-growing dependent number of fellow citizens, and a culture that rewards mediocrity and the effortless.

Even Obama latest budget was rejected by the House, The Vote? 414-0. No one voted for Obama's budget. Everyone in the House must be racist, huh?

You live in sad world and a racist yourself if you blame everything on race.

    Doc-

I am honored that you would ask for my opinion and think a commission-only peddler can solve our economic problems.

It would seem to me that unabated, irresponsible political greed (enablers for their own personal power and greed for votes), financial institution greed (lenders making bad loans to people that should not have loans in the first place because they were well beyond their means), and personal greed (both by those that provided the loans and the idiots that applied for and were okayed for loans they know they should have never taken out at the rates they did). that started it all. We need banks, businesses need banks, the ability to apply for reasonable loans both will agree to can be paid back. We are already there. Try refinancing these days. Done. Those policies are now in place and probably lending can be eased a bit.

Second, now, ask yourself if you were a small business (our nation's largest employer) - what is inhibiting your reinvestment job growth by small businesses? Fear, regulations and taxes and threats for more taxes on revenue you want to put back in your business to grow. You are investing much of your personal income in your business to help it grow. Why tax that and inhibit that small business' ability to grow, develop, buy, invest with that money and get that out in the private economy where it is doing real good helping other businesses and their employees' families with that profit so they can spend more? Cut small business taxes and repeal Obamacare which would place more strain and what ever profit they have to keep growing. Amazing what kind of overall tax revenue can be generated when taxes are cut and businesses grow and hire. The more you take from these small businessses the less chance they have to grow.

Third, Cut Federal employees - and require each unit to stay within a defined budget - provide bonuses for units that stay under budget. The IRS in half since they wont be chasing tax revenue, and redirect that to invest in policing federal government waste, fraud and abuse. That governement investment would save billions and billions.

Fourth- Require Federal Govt to have discipline in spending - aka balanced budget e.g have Government 'Civil Servants' be forced to be more responsible for their own retirement, reduce pension allocations by the taxpayer and have the govt employee pay far more for not only their own pension, but their fellow govt employees and help pay down those current unfunded liabilities that are gazillions in debt and unsustainable. Put medicare and medicaid on sustainable budgets.

Fifth - slash ridiculous regulations that are killing business growth and job creation giving our global competition a free lane on the race track.

Sixth- America used to be the nation of believers that people can do amazing things and exceed goals with their backs are against the wall, forcing action and personal results. I still subscribe to that. I have no problem with financial safety nets, but after a certain period - cut them off. Fear brings out the best in people - effort, innovation, adaptation etc. If it takes two jobs, great! you have two references for the next you apply for. get that mentaility instilled back into Americans minds. Not the woe is me shit we hear from this President - empathy eventually becomes pathetic and self-serving -as we see constantly with Obama. Sometimes we need a frickin cheerleader in the White House. The GOP Congresses negotiated with Bill Clinton.

We ave seen where Obama made a deal that very few Democrats would have been happy about with more cuts than the GOP wanted, Boehner took it back to Congress and Cantor backstabbed him.

So the 414-0 vote means the Democrats are voting with the GOP knowing full well the current GOP will not negotiate.

No no, according to lars the unemployment rate of college grads is only 4% so they are finding jobs.

Please explain how Obama could have done anything he wanted when the repubs in the Senate filibustered every bill he proposed? The dems only had 58 dem votes which wasn't enough to force cloture. The repubs have stalled almost every single piece of legislation proposed since January 2009. That's a fact. And why are they doing this? Because their first priority isn't the good of the country, it's getting that uppity black guy out of the White House. The repub leadership has declared it to be so.

Compromise has become a dirty word to repubs which is why the latest budget proposals have failed. The dems knew from the get go that Obama had over-compromised with the repubs and even so the repubs would not pass the budget as a political move. The dems voted no so they wouldn't be saddled trying to explain to their constituents why they voted for a budget the would have further enriched the wealthy at the expense of real working Americans.

And why are you, as a conservative, not totally embarrassed that the number of people in this country who have fallen below the poverty line has increased so dramatically due to conservative economic policies? Why do you celebrate that? Conservative economic policies created the entire recession, yet you choose to blame the victims instead of the perpetrators. Your solution is to further weaken social safety nets, hand more of the country's wealth to the priviledged few, and finish destroying the remnants of what little democratic processes we still have in favor of a complete corporate oligarchy.

You connies constantly rail against the deficit, but totally ignored it while dubya more than doubled it. But suddenly when Obama was sworn in, it became the only thing that mattered. You refuse to do the two things that will close the deficit and insist on using the same policies and practices that created it in the first place. Why? Because in conservative land the rich don't have enough, and the poor have too much.

And Eric Cantor, who had a moment of bravery, admitted that racism is at the heart of the repub obstructionism. The plain and simple truth. Obama isn't a liberal, he's a conservative. That's why liberals are disappointed in him. Had he fought for, and followed through with what he campaigned for instead of caving in time and time again to connie/repub demands his imminent re-election would be by a much larger margin than it's going to be

The only thing more disappointing than how Obama has lead, would be the leadership of a mittens romney administration. For that would surely and certainly be the complete end of democracy in America.
