Sorry, GM and Chrysler back. Michigan is as well after being in a bigger hole than most of the country. I don't think most Michiganders will thank Mitt with their vote (pretty sad given his roots). The can is not kicked down the road. Both companies viable and workers providing for their families.

Thank you Mr. Short-Term, Dr. Feel Good. We all want GM and Chrysler to win. But when you inject private-sector flunkies from the Federal Govt into anything related to Capitalism/Competition/Effort/Will to Win - it is doomed to fail.
Both companies have very able-bodied and smart people - Go Bankrupt, learn from your mistakes, and come back stronger than ever. That is the American Way.
If you disagree - Go buy a Volt for $40K.

Michigan would have been better off.
GM would have opened the next day under bankruptcy and had to take real steps to be a strong company. As it is the artificial and illegal actions taken by the government simply kicked the can down the road.
GM will only have to do it again.

Do the unicorns have wings in your fantasy land?
Without the government bailout of GM - The State of Michigan would've had 25% unemployment. Translation: Depression.
Next time skip the Teabagger drivel and use your brain before you type

Worked?? Was his plan to destroy the economy as we have known it for the last 70 years?? If so..then yes...it worked.
, greenpebbles is as pathetic as lars and his RNC dailies
From the article:

mas plan is to make the most people dependent on the government as possible... his plan is working.
