    Ya I don't think its hip anymore to like Obama in college. At least not in East Lansing, I'm sure it is still out in Ann Arbor of course.

    I'm guessing that before any states are considered to be colored red or blue, we better wait until the Republican focus turns 100% on BO instead on each other.

    Duke....I always compare BO to an American Idol winner. Mostly cause thats the voters that put him over the top. As an American Idol winner...he came out of nowhere, attained instant fame, and now those particular masses are bored with him. Kinda like what happens with an American Idol winner....just a flavor of the day. It's the same mind set. There was never really any substance there to begin with.

    That is a great comparison. I'm gonna place a phone call to my buddy's in the vast right wing conspiracy and hopefully foxnews, beck, and limbaugh, etc start calling him the American Idol President.

    How can you even say that mitt has lost michigan. The state of Michigan is a prime example of what happens with liberal policy's and I'd like to think the people here will not fall for it again.

    But then again we are experiencing a "brain drain" so I could be totally wrong.

  • Pretty much spot on. Democrat partisans are in favor of him big time, but there is a massive drop off right after them. There aren't enough naive college students this time around.

    College students know there aren't any jobs for them upon graduation, and they will be fighting with people who graduated three years ago for those same jobs. All the while, Obama has been devoting resources to Union jobs and basically saying, "Fuck you, college grads".

    This is true, primarily because even Democrats know Obama is way over his head. My Dem friends readily admit that the economy will improve greatly with Romney.

    Thank you. I still prefer state polls, but this gives a good indication of how things are going. Given Obama's decent approval ratings and the fact that he has yet to really go into full campaign-mode, there's not a lot for Dems to be worried about at this point.

    Were you somebody else before? I don't remember you posting here before this week. Trayvon Martin is obviously a schtick and there was a GRR imitator schtick here this week. Those are the only schticks I know of which post here.

    If the GOP opened their eyes, embraced the growing libertarian sentiment in this country, they'd get the support of the youth across the country.

    Sad to say, I think Obama carries the youth vote by a wide margin in '12.
