I never even thought about the political leanings/views of my teachers. I just viewed them as people who knew more than I did. And since I took the course to learn, I was happy to learn from them.

Same - but the last three years have been brutal - existing customer budgets have been cut drastically - many clients have generally been in survival mode - crazy times - sad for many. Have been forced to spend a ton of time chasing and winning new business/clients. Like everyone who chooses employment - many are working far more 50-60+ hrs week for less. Quota only goes up. Have a lot of dependents (plus the 45 million of others we support through involuntary tax contributions - food stamps, GRR's whiny lazy ass, etc). It is what it is - and there is no choice but to get after it and make it happen.
Frankly - America needs working conservatives - we are the responsible majority that deliver real measurable results. We choose to do what ever work is necessary these days to feed our families and pay our taxes- even while forced to deal with from the seemingly jealous, angry, unproductive, whiny societal spectators on the Left asking us to give even more. Worse yet, we have a President fosters and sponsors greater dependency, perpetual excuses of inactivity. Why? He must have their votes to win this Fall.

classic.
everyone knows it was the deregulation of the financial markets and the massive insider trading/investor fraud perpetuated by the Republican friendly greed mongers.
EVERYONE knows that.
Being on the wrong side of history could hurt you in the long run, kid.

Simpleton-
How about reading history and doing the research instead of sound bites?
Follow the taxpayer money and in the end you - most cases - you will find a Democrat
I live in Chicago. Politicians profit from Taxpayer money disguised in do-good -ism. Do the research.
I must be crazy to be in a loony bin like this.

I stopped reading after the first page when I realized that not a single lib answered the question. Have any of them answered yet?
I think we can safely assume that because so few of them are answering that most of them are takers.

Bingo. They are embarrassed to admit their blatant unproductiveness. Most all Liberals I know are dependent on someone else for their livelihood, anyway. Taxpayer money, their spouse, or hide themselves in the bureaucracy itching for 5PM.

So little green schtick aka Joey Goebbels is an insurance peddler.
Some of the weasels in the MI GOP house were insurance peddlers.
Everybody has to eat. But how arrogant to say America needs more people like himself.
Measurable results, Blah Blah Blah. Like Bush2's Texas education mriacle that was exposed for having telling people to skip testing days, delay scheduling lower level core courses required for an HS diploma so the annual tests would fall into the "new" requirements.
Connies always forget public schools, public health can't pick and choose the way private business can. Little Joey has deadbeat clients he stops calling on them. In the public sector the folks no one wants to help never go away.
Got to hand it to Little Joey Goebbels Junior. He has got all the Limbaugh/Hannity/O'Reily/Savage buzz words memorized "jealous, angry, unproductive, whiny societal spectators" . What a steaming pile of self-righteous bullshit.

Then there is the union person that can't push a plug into an outlet for less the $50/hr.

I run my own charter school...I guess that makes me a taker? I also employee some people so does that make me a maker?
Also a lot of skilled labor are union workers and I would consider those people makers of a product.
Also I would conisder a taker someone on welfare, I have no idea what job can be considered a "taking job". Since everyone produces value of some sor while working.
