Why not read an article and educate yourself?? This is science, from UK, not your typical Republican group boner.....
"The scientists studied ikaite crystals from sediment cores drilled off the coast of Antarctica. The sediment layers were deposited over 2,000 years.
The scientists were particularly interested in crystals found in layers deposited during the ‘Little Ice Age,’ approximately 300 to 500 years ago, and during the Medieval Warm Period before it.
Both climate events have been documented in Northern Europe, but studies have been inconclusive as to whether the conditions in Northern Europe extended to Antarctica.
Lu’s team found that in fact, they did.
They were able to deduce this by studying the amount of heavy oxygen isotopes found in the crystals.
During cool periods there are lots, during warm periods there aren’t.
‘We showed that the Northern European climate events influenced climate conditions in Antarctica,’ Lu says. ‘More importantly, we are extremely happy to figure out how to get a climate signal out of this peculiar mineral. A new proxy is always welcome when studying past climate changes.’"

Yep, the earth has cooled and the earth has warmed. I fail to see how saying the earth warmed in the past without the assistance of human CO emissions debunks the reality that the planet is warming today or that we're hastening it.
Whether humans are THE cause, A cause, or NO cause at all is largely irrelevant. The planet has never had 7 billion people fouling the landscape and wiping out species in a frenetic effort to harvest every last bit of its limited resources to keep the hamster wheel of life moving ever fast.
More important, many of these 7 billion live in cities that were created under a different climate model. Seems to me folks oughta be proactive about the dramatic shifts ahead — like the Polynesian island that is purchasing land elsewhere because it realizes its homeland will soon be under ocean water.
That is all.

See Foxbat's post.
We all know there have been warm and cool periods and this is normal. Climate change research seeks to understand how current change fits and doesn't fit with past patterns of change. It is a very interesting and complex science. But the OP it not so intelligent and should be mocked.

Bingo Walter, we have this, and the sun has been going crazy the last few years, these sun patterns follow the climate changes pretty closely too. But no, lets say its fossil fuels because environmentalist don't like them....
Plus there is a hell of a lot of money to be made off of global climate chaos....

Not the question, Im curious doc, do you still after all the rewrites, embarrassments and the changing daily of the causes of the chaos believe that man and co2 is the cause of the mini warm up that has been pretty flat for the last 8 years to say the least??
Why ignore facts when you can have a moving target in global warming, errr global climate change....

My question was a simple one, which you seem to be ducking.
I do still believe that rising concentration of CO2 in the atmosphere is contributing to global climate change...by definition it must (how much is a matter worthy of debate)....but then again I believe in things like evolution too.
