Brock And The Glock: Armed Men Guarded Media Matters Boss As He Took $400,000 Gun Control Donation | Fox News

The recent revelation that the head of Media Matters walked the streets of Washington with a Glock-toting personal assistant acting as a bodyguard may make it a little awkward for the group the next time it seeks a donation from a gun control advocacy group.

So you can be pro-gun control and pro-gun?
How about anti-gun control and anti-gun?

Or is it the same as abortion where GRR is pro-choice but doesn't like abortion?

I don't know anything about the Media Matters guy, so in his case that might not be an accurate analogy. However, in many cases, such an analogy would be extremely fitting. I'm not surprised that you lack the intellectual capacity to grasp the subtlety of such a position.

    Wrong.

Allowing people to have a choice but choosing yourself not to make that choice is just about damn opposite of not wanting others to have choices but favoring those choices for yourself.

Media Matters Document Reportedly Detailed Plan To Target Fox News Staff | Fox News

Liberal media watchdog group Media Matters once contemplated harassing Fox News employees with yard signs in their neighborhoods, hiring private investigators to dig into their personal lives and retaining a major law firm to study legal action against the network, according to a report Tuesday in the Daily Caller.

Same with guns. I don't carry a weapon. I don't even load the guns I have at home to protect me against potential home invasions because I figure they can steal most anything becase its all replaceable. If they threaten my family I will use lethal means other than guns.

RQA and trollwrinkle love to talk about freedom as long as they are the ones limiting other's freedom.

See, I totally "get" your abortion stance, because I share it. But the difference is that we believe in providing that choice to all - we just wouldn't chose that option, personally.

The anti-gun folks wish to restrict choices about carrying and/or owning guns from the general public. You can't possibly draw a parallel between the two.

Your myopia is showing again. No one is saying people shouldn't own guns. NO ONE. The discussion is whether those idiots who only feel complete if they have a metal penis in their pocket should be allowed to carry them anywhere they want to, even if it is into a private business that doesn't want guns on it's premises. You say that anyone should be able to carry a gun anywhere, anytime. And I say that's insane. If I don't want you to have a gun on my property, why should you get to ignore that? Or don't private property rights count?

By the same token, if a private business is okay with some idiot carrying his metal penis, I don't think it's out of line for that to be posted by the door so those that don't feel comfortable being in the same establishment as some drunk with a gun can exercise their perogative to go some place else. Or should that also be illegal? Should the law that lets you carry your metal penis, force me to patronize an establishment if I don't want to? That seems to be your position.

Actually, there are plenty of nut bags that would suggest that people shouldn't own guns, or that there should be restrictions on how people own guns. How many rounds someone's magazine should hold. How many firearms a person should be allowed to buy in a set period of time. Where and how someone should be allowed to carry said firearm. So suggest that no one is saying people shouldn't own guns is idiotic and I can't even bother to try to make sense of the rest of your blather if that's your opening statement.

You ask me how I feel about gun control (whatever that is supposed to entail) and I tell you that I am for it. How many guns do I own? How do I feel about people owning guns? You ask me about gun control and I tell you that I am against it. How many guns do I own? How do I feel about people owning guns?
